Goodbye Summer + Pop Up in Bethesda, Maryland

This blog post was originally published 8/30/23 on my old website.

The days have been growing shorter and the nights feel cooler . Summer isn't quite over yet , we do have a few more weeks of its warmth. But as Labor Day weekend approaches, I can't help but feel like Summer is coming to an end.

Long sunny days call for ice cream and lazy afternoons by the pool and the beach trips. This summer felt really short for me, personally . I think it had to do with a short summer break for my kids .

Summertime is very relaxed in our household . We don't really have a rigid routine . I find ways to work around my kids being around all the time. While they are not little kids anymore and are pretty independent, I like to be available for them when they do need me . After all , when your teenagers want to talk to you , you make time for them !

As we segue into Fall , I'm excited about the change in seasons, cooler temperatures, events and the Holidays.

Speaking of events, I will be popping up at part of Mor's Trunk Show  Bethesda, Maryland on September 10th . I will have my some of my artwork , stationery and of course examples of my live sketching and live wedding painting with me . Come meet me in person , if you are in the Washington DC , Virginia , Maryland area.

Come shop in person and check out my art prints , mugs, notebooks and notepads in person. These work great for gifting for the upcoming Holiday season , or if you are looking for gifts for your bridesmaids .

If you are looking for custom artwork - maybe creating personalized Holiday cards for your family , I am taking custom requests now. If you'd like to discuss live event sketching guest portraits or Live Wedding painting , this is an opportunity to meet me in person to discuss your needs.

Cick here to RSVP for the event .

I hope I get to see many of you in Maryland.

Cheers,

Lakshmi
